CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT

The Cultural Development committee exists to ensure that each individual of the Case community is given the awareness, the journey, and the wisdom of the different cultures which exist inside and outside of Case Western Reserve University. Our obligation is to give each Case Student, Faculty, and Staff members the opportunity to have a glimpse of other cultures through lecture and entertainment. We have provided renowned speakers such as Harry Belafonte, Louis Stokes, and Rapsessions. Sometimes we co-sponsor cultural Spot Nights or diversity tables at events!

	Committee Co-Chair - Jaquetta Duncan jaquetta.duncan@case.edu My name is Jaquetta; I am a third year student, with a major in Psychology and minors Anthropology and Women Studies. I am a really nice person, who is very excited about being Co-Chair of Cultural Development and helping to make CWRU more aware of different cultures. I am looking forward to having fun with different cool events!!!

	Committee Co-Chair - Alicia Sanchez alicia.sanchez@case.edu I am a first year Business Management major with a minor in Political Science. I am really excited to be a member of the UPB board and more specifically a Co-Chair for Cultural Development. I love bringing new, exciting speakers and other cultural events to our much needing campus. I am looking forward to programming for next semester and I am hoping to bring some really exciting programs!

	Committee Co-Chair - Vanessa Johnson vaj2@case.edu I am currently a junior studying psychology with a minor in childhood studies. I love to attend live poetry slams and listen to a variety of music. I like meeting people from different walks of life. As a member of the UPB board I hope to spread my wisdom that I gained from my membership in previous culturally diverse groups to educate and influence the Case community.

	Committee Co-Chair - Tania Bougebrayel tnb4@case.edu Hi! I'm Tania, and I'm a junior Political Science and International Studies major with a minor in Anthropology. I love learning about different cultures and think UPB is a great way to showcase the diverse backgrounds we have here at CWRU! This is my first year on UPB, and I am so unbelievably excited to work with such a great group of people! You should all come to our awesome events!
