| CONCERTS |
The Concerts committee is UPB's largest committee! We put on all the
major concerts on campus, mainly the big concert each semester and
weekly Wednesday shows at the Spot, which are always free. Concerts
books the band, sells the tickets, and helps set up the band's
equipment. In the past, Concerts has brought Ben Folds, Jurassic 5,
Phantom Planet, The Roots, Gym Class Heroes and recently, They Might Be
Giants and Jack's Mannequin. Spot shows have featured artists like Tokyo
Police Club, Grand Buffet, and The Fiery Furnaces. Concerts has also
thrown exciting campus events like Karaoke nights, Guitar Hero
competition, Jamnesty, Battle of the Bands, and the famous Air Guitar
competition. |

Hi, I'm Mallory! I am music obsessed. It's really gotten to be a
problem. Sometimes my friends enter my room looking looking for a
conversation only to find that hundreds of CDs are scattered on the
floor with me hunched over them reading liner notes. I want everyone
else to love music like I do, so get your butts to our concerts to hear
some good stuff!
